superior-wct6940-built-in-white-epa-wood-burning-fireplace-with-certified-cat-and-white-stacked
Superior WCT6940 CAT Traditional Circulating Wood Burning Fireplace

Description

An intricate facade outlines a broad pair of steel doors in this EPA-certified wood burning fireplace. Powerful catalytic combustion, insulation, ceramic glass and a 350 cfm blower keep hot air streaming. Textured white stacked refractory, cast iron log retainers, efficient air wash system, outside air kit and an outside air coupler are all standard. The Superior WCT6940 is described in the manufacturer's own price book as "EPA Certified CAT Fireplace, White Stacked", listed under the Wood-Burning Fireplace category of the Superior lineup, and covers Model Number WCT6940WS. A traditional wood-burning fireplace burns real, split firewood in an open or glass-fronted firebox, vented through a factory-built metal chimney system rather than a masonry flue, which makes it a practical option in new construction and additions where a full masonry chimney would be impractical to build.

This is a solid-fuel appliance. A wood-burning fireplace of this type requires a factory-built chimney system, matched in diameter to the appliance, run to the outside following the clearances set out in the installation manual - it is not compatible with a masonry flue sized for a different appliance. The insulated firebox construction is what allows these units to be installed with the reduced clearances to combustible framing shown in the manual, rather than the much larger clearances a site-built masonry fireplace would need. Optional glass doors, blower kits and decorative surrounds let the same firebox be configured for either a fully open, traditional look or a more efficient, closed-door operating mode.

What's Included

Superior WCT6940WS - EPA Certified CAT Fireplace, White Stacked

Key Features

Heater-rated appliance

Specification

Model Series

WCT6940

Category

Wood-Burning Fireplaces

Style

EPA Compliant

Description

EPA Certified CAT Fireplace, White Stacked

Model Numbers

WCT6940WS

Material Numbers

F2846

Documents & Files

Brochure

Snap-Pak Smart Sheet

Standard Feature Smart Sheet

Installation and Operation Manual

Specification Sheet

Instruction Sheet

https://usfireplaceshop.com/products/superior-wct6940-built-in-white-epa-wood-burning-fireplace-with-certified-cat-and-white-stacked
