superior-hood-adjusts-to-fireplace-back-wall-measuring-19-24-remote-control-for-purefire
Superior PureFire Aftermarket 19"- 24" Adjustable Emission Control Hood

Description

The Superior AH1924P is listed in the manufacturer's price book as Material #F0878, described there as "Hood - Adjusts to fireplace back wall measuring 19"-24"", and is grouped under the Purefire Aftermarket Adjustable Emission Control Hoods section of the catalog alongside the other parts sold for this line of fireplaces. A remote control or wall switch changes how practical a gas fireplace is to actually live with day to day. Without one, turning the fireplace on or off means reaching the manual valve or switch built into the appliance itself, which is not always convenient once furniture is arranged around it. Superior's control range spans a simple on/off rocker switch, through timer-based wall controls that shut the fire down automatically after a set period, up to full thermostatic remotes that read the room temperature and cycle the fireplace to hold it steady, the same way a furnace thermostat would.

The AH1924P is priced as a standalone factory part, separate from any fireplace it is ordered with, and it is listed as fitting PureFire. Each control kit ships with the receiver, wiring and any wall plate needed for a complete installation, and is designed to be wired directly into the valve harness already present inside the fireplace, without any aftermarket adapters. A thermostatic remote is the most convenient day-to-day option, since it lets the fireplace behave like any other heat source in the house - set a temperature and forget it - while a simple on/off switch suits anyone who only wants manual control over the flame. Because remotes and wall controls are matched to a specific valve type, it is worth checking the ignition system of the fireplace it will be installed on before ordering, so the receiver and the valve are guaranteed to be compatible.

What's Included

One Superior AH1924P - Hood - Adjusts to fireplace back wall measuring 19"-24"

Material #F0878, supplied in the manufacturer's packaging

Key Features

Genuine Superior factory control

Select one control per appliance

Specification

Model #

AH1924P

Material #

F0878

Description

Hood - Adjusts to fireplace back wall measuring 19"-24"

Product Type

Fireplace Remote Control

Price Book Section

Purefire Aftermarket Adjustable Emission Control Hoods

Brand

Superior

https://usfireplaceshop.com/products/superior-hood-adjusts-to-fireplace-back-wall-measuring-19-24-remote-control-for-purefire
