superior-glow-ramp-18-built-in-gas-log-burner-with-millivolt-and-embers
Superior Glow-Ramp 18" Gas Log Burner with Millivolt & Embers

Description

The Glow Ramp Burner Series provides three distinct areas of flame: dancing yellow flames in the rear, glowing logs in the center and vibrant glowing embers in the front. All models are heater rated with 99% heat efficiency and include a wood-burning grate appearance. Pair 18" logs with a 18" burner. Pair 24", 30" and 36" logs with a 24" burner. Variable Remote and Electronic Ignition models include a remote control with built-in thermostat mode and adjustable variable flame control. The Superior Glow-Ramp is described in the manufacturer's own price book as "18" Millivolt, Ramp Burner, Embers", listed under the Gas Log Burner category of the Superior lineup, and covers Model Numbers BGE18NR / BGE18PR. A gas log burner is the working half of a vented or vent-free log set - it is the component that actually connects to the gas supply and produces the flame, sold separately from the decorative log casting that sits over it so the same burner can be paired with more than one log style.

This model burns Natural Gas or Propane, and is built to ANSI Z223.1 / NFPA 54. A log burner installs into an existing masonry fireplace or an approved vented firebox, connected to the gas supply by a qualified installer, with the matching log casting placed over it according to the layout shown in the manual. Because burner and log set are sold as separate line items specifically so either can be replaced independently, confirm the burner size against the log set it will be paired with before ordering, since the two are matched by length. Electronic and variable models include a remote control as standard, while millivolt models are operated by a manual valve at the appliance itself - worth factoring in when deciding which ignition tier best suits how the fireplace will actually be used.

What's Included

Superior BGE18NR - 18" Millivolt, Ramp Burner, Embers

Superior BGE18PR - 18" Millivolt, Ramp Burner, Embers

Key Features

18 Inch heater-rated appliance

Available in Natural Gas and Propane

Specification

Model Series

Glow-Ramp

Category

Vent-Free Fireplaces

Style

Log Sets

Description

18" Millivolt, Ramp Burner, Embers

Fuel Type

Natural Gas or Propane

Agency Listing

Built to ANSI Z223.1 / NFPA 54

Model Numbers

BGE18NR · BGE18PR

Material Numbers

F0040 · F0044

https://usfireplaceshop.com/products/superior-glow-ramp-18-built-in-gas-log-burner-with-millivolt-and-embers
