superior-72-see-thru-conversion-kit-for-vre4672-fireplace
Superior 72" See-Through Conversion Kit for VRE4672 Gas Fireplace

Description

The Superior LVOST72 is listed in the manufacturer's price book as Material #F4832, described there as "72" See-Thru Conversion Kit", and is grouped under the See-Through Conversion Kit section of the catalog alongside the other parts sold for this line of fireplaces. Superior fireplaces leave the factory dedicated to a single fuel, natural gas or propane, with the orifice, regulator and valve settings all matched to that fuel from the start. A conversion kit is the factory-approved way to change that dedication after the fact, rather than replacing the appliance outright. The kit itself is a small parts package - typically a replacement orifice, regulator spring or valve component - matched to both the direction of the conversion and the ignition system of the specific fireplace, since millivolt and electronic ignition systems use different conversion parts.

The LVOST72 is priced as a standalone factory part, separate from any fireplace it is ordered with, and it is listed as fitting VRE4672 Fireplace. A gas conversion is not a homeowner installation - it requires re-setting the manifold pressure and verifying correct combustion afterward, which is why Superior specifies that conversions be carried out only by a qualified, licensed gas technician. Ordering the fireplace in the correct fuel from the outset is always the simpler option where it is available; a conversion kit exists mainly for situations where the gas supply at a property changes after the fireplace has already been installed. Before ordering, confirm both the ignition type of the fireplace - millivolt or electronic - and the direction of the conversion needed, since a kit built for the wrong combination of the two will not fit the valve it is meant to service.

What's Included

One Superior LVOST72 - 72" See-Thru Conversion Kit

Material #F4832, supplied in the manufacturer's packaging

Key Features

Genuine Superior factory conversion kit

Installation by a qualified gas technician required

Specification

Model #

LVOST72

Material #

F4832

Description

72" See-Thru Conversion Kit

Product Type

Gas Conversion Kit

Price Book Section

See-Through Conversion Kit

Brand

Superior
